The trail was equipped in the Varnakalnis Forest of the Krekenava Forest District in 2003. The purpose of the trail is to familiarise visitors, in a natural environment, with the forest, its structure and work carried out here, as well as to educate people to commune with nature in a civilised manner. All information is provided at five stations. The wood house-pavilion at the end of the trail exhibits photographs of forest animals and birds as well as drawings and creative works of young forest visitors. The view of the scenic valley and a cliff of the Linkava River opens from the observation tower. You can sit on the benches at the stations and rest at the fireplace in the valley.
