Švenčiuliškiai village is known for its unique cemetery of post-war partisans, expatriates, book smugglers, and volunteers. The cemetery stands out with the unique millstones’ composition, chapel-columns, monumental stones brought by J. Žilevičius and his companionship from all around Krekenava region. Through his efforts the cemetery has evolved into an open-air museum uniting Christian and Pagan symbols. According to the locals, J. Žilevičius was fully devoted to restoring the memory of the post-war heroes in these millstones, memorial stones and chapel-columns.
